What subjects are workshops available on?

  • violence against women and its impact on children
  • violence in teen dating relationships
  • sexual harassment
  • responding to violence in a racially and culturally diverse context
  • violence against women as a human rights issue
  • gender violence and uts relationship to other forms of oppression (i.e. racism, heterosexism, etc.)
  • the impact of violence against women on the workplace
  • homophobia and heterosexism
  • violence in lesbian/gay relationships

How are the educational programs designed?

Each program is designed in consultation with the client group, taking into account:

  • program objectives
  • context of client group, i.e.: health care sector, schools, social services, etc.
  • learning style of participants
  • time available

Where do you conduct workshops?

We provide workshops and training programs at the client's location. As such, we conduct workshops in and around Canada and the United States. However, the client must pay travel costs outside of the Greater Toronto area.

Who conducts Education Wife Assault's workshops and training programs?

Our Trainer/Facilitator has been an educator/activist internationally on social justice issues for 30 years. She has designed and delivered workshops and training programs on woman abuse for the past 11 years.

Is there a fee for workshops/training programs?

Yes. Fees are charged on a sliding scale.
